Milly J is a Korena-American artist based in New York City who studied fine arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology. From drawing roses on notepads with Crayola crayons to art school, she has experimented with all types of mediums in her work.
Milly's recent works have consisted mainly of digital paintings creating her first collection called "Intimacy".
The collection's inspiration and purpose was a way to explore and portray her interpretation and thoughts of the different types of intimacies. She hopes to make the viewer feel, relate and interpret her pieces in this collection with an open and honest mind that will help them understand the difficulties and hardships human intimacy brings on today's society.

New York City-based artist, Milly J, studied Fine Arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology. From painting on canvas to digital works, she implements her intricate design process across all mediums.
Milly J’s first collection, “Intimacy”, consists of digital paintings that aims to capture the complexities of the very word. Through these works, the artist herself grapples with the concept of intimacy and the vast array of feelings and deep emotions that it evokes. She invites the viewers of “Intimacy” to do the same.
